L'étape prochain

4 sleeps to go...1 exam and a whole lot of excitement.

Monday 28th November is my last exam which happens to be French. Some of my friends also take French so we decided to have a French study day. Little did I know they had organised a surprise going away party. Their plan was to surprise me but that didn't quite work...seeing as they all jumped out early when Jade walked around the corner, but I loved it. Even though they couldn't all make it (mostly due to my indecision) it was so awesome that they even thought to do it. Featured on the left is the presents they got me (a scrapbook/photo album, luggage tag, pen, diary and small wallet) which I absolutely love! The day was well spent playing games (which partly worked) and just talking and catching up.

Over the past couple of days I have caught up with other friends as well to catch up and see them before I go! It doesn't really feel like I won't be seeing them for 3 months at the moment but, again, I don't think it will feel real until I am on the plane.

The last stages of getting everything together is almost complete! The presents for the host family have been bought, I have some new winter clothes which will keep me warm in the negative temperatures and I have finally gotten a suitcase 4 days before leaving. Now all I have to do is pack!
